Requirements for the CAD drawing service “3D model in HottCAD format”
In order to successfully use the CAD drawing service to create a 3D model in HottCAD format, the customer must meet the following requirements:
Provision of construction plans and templates
To create an exact 3D model, we need complete building plans or technical drawings of the building. These should ideally be available in digital format (PDF, DWG, DXF) and contain detailed information on dimensions and spatial structures.
Measurements and volume data
Accurate modelling requires precise dimensions, including the dimensions of all important building elements such as walls, ceilings, and roof structures. If interior walls are displayed as an option, this information should also be provided.
Defining the level of modelling
The model is created in LOD 200 detail, which provides a simplified representation of the building envelope without fixed installations and systems. If additional details are required, these should be specified in advance.
Format and software compatibility
The model is delivered in HottCAD format, compatible with IFC. If there are specific requirements for integration with other CAD systems, please let us know in advance to avoid compatibility issues.
Additional requirements and customization requests
If individual adjustments such as dimensional chains, special layer structures or furniture are required, these must be communicated before the start of the project. This allows us to tailor the model precisely to your requirements.
Correction processes and change requests
A correction run is included in the service. Should further revisions be required, please let us know in advance to plan implementation and any additional costs.
