Requirements for the CAD service “Cubature Calculation”
In order to carry out an accurate cubic calculation for your medium-sized residential building, we need some information and documents from you. Since the cubature calculation can only be ordered in combination with a living area calculation, the requirements for both calculations are summarized here:
Current living space calculation
Make sure that there is a current and complete living space calculation for the building. If the calculation is not yet available, it can be commissioned together with the cubature calculation.
Construction and planning documents
Prepare complete building plans, floor plans, sections, and views that show all relevant building elements. These plans are the basis for a precise calculation of cubic and living space.
Indication of room heights
Enter the exact room heights for all relevant rooms. This information is important in order to calculate the volume exactly.
Access to CAD files
If available, make the plans also available in digital CAD format (e.g. DWG or DXF) to enable a more precise and efficient calculation.
Desired output format for calculations
Specify the format in which you want the results to be delivered, such as an Excel, PDF, or a CAD file. This makes seamless integration into your other project documents easier.
Clarification of building elements for calculation
Determine which building elements should be included in the cuature calculation, such as exterior and interior walls, roof areas, or cellars. A clear definition makes it easier to calculate the cubature precisely.
Contact person for inquiries and feedback
Name a contact person who is available for any queries and approves the calculation results for further processing.
Indication of desired additional services
If you need additional services, such as integrating the cubature into existing plans, detailed explanations or correction runs, specify this in advance. This allows us to optimally adapt the calculations to your specific requirements.
With these requirements, you can ensure that your cubic and living space calculations are carried out precisely and in accordance with standards and provide a sound basis for your space planning and cost estimation.
