Requirements for the CAD service “Usable area calculation in accordance with DIN 277”
In order for us to be able to carry out a standard-compliant and precise floor space calculation in accordance with DIN 277 for your construction project, we need the following documents and information from you. These requirements help us to prepare the area calculations efficiently and in accordance with the specific requirements of DIN 277.
Current construction and planning documents
Provide complete and up-to-date building plans, floor plans, and sections that include the relevant areas and dimensions. These documents are the basis for an accurate area calculation.
Detailed area categorization
Specify which areas should be included in the usable area calculation (e.g. functional areas, traffic areas). This ensures that all areas are correctly recorded in accordance with the requirements of DIN 277.
Clear area allocation
Define which areas belong to the various areas of use, such as office, warehouse, traffic and functional areas. A clear allocation of areas makes structuring and calculation in accordance with DIN 277 easier.
Access to existing CAD files
If available, make the plans also available as CAD files (e.g. DWG/DXF) so that the data can be used directly for the calculation. This reduces manual effort and increases the accuracy of the calculation.
Calculation output format requirements
Tell us the preferred format for the floor plan, e.g. Excel, PDF or directly as an integration into your planning software. In this way, we can ensure that the calculation results can be seamlessly integrated into your other processes.
