Requirements for the “Escape and Rescue Plans” CAD drawing service
In order to provide you with precise and standard-compliant escape and rescue plans in accordance with DIN 4844-3 and BGV A8, a number of essential requirements are required from the customer. These requirements support precise planning and facilitate coordination with the relevant authorities.
Provision of current construction and escape plans
To prepare escape and rescue plans, we need current construction drawings and existing escape route plans. These documents are essential to record and correctly represent the exact location of escape routes, access points and safety equipment.
Access to the property for an on-site inspection
An inspection of the property is necessary to ensure a reconciliation between the plans and the actual circumstances. This on-site inspection is used to check escape routes, fire protection facilities and use of space and to document any discrepancies.
Information on fire protection and safety equipment
Provide detailed information about fire protection equipment (e.g. fire extinguishers, fire detectors) and specific hazardous areas. This information helps to place all safety-relevant elements exactly in the plan.
List of emergency numbers and instructions for conduct
To prepare the plans, we need a complete list of emergency numbers and behavioral instructions for the respective evacuation scenarios. In this way, we ensure that all information meets security standards.
Signage and guidance system requirements
If a guidance system is already in place or there are specific signage requirements, please indicate this. This information is important for planning and visualizing the signs to ensure safe evacuation.
Coordination and approval with the competent authority
Since escape and rescue plans must be approved by the relevant authorities, we need information about the regional fire department or other relevant authorities. All fees for this reconciliation will be passed on to you at no additional charge.
Format and special requests
Our plans are printed on waterproof and abrasion-resistant film as standard. If there are special requirements for the print format or additional special requests, please let us know in advance so that appropriate adjustments can be made.
Confirmation of the two-year audit intervals
According to legal requirements, escape and rescue plans must be reviewed at least every two years. Make sure that a knowledgeable person is appointed to regularly review plans to meet current safety standards.
Contact person for inquiries and approvals
Please name a contact person who is available during creation and if you have any questions. This person should be responsible for approving the drafts and coordinating regulatory votes.
